Granting the Plaintiff's Motion to Add a Party
The plaintiff is a former Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (" WMATA" ) engineer who worked on projects with outside contractors. He alleges that Peter Kaputsos, an employee of one of these contractors, continually harassed, threatened, and maligned him with his superiors, engaging in defamation, tortious interference with contract, and constructive discharge. The plaintiff has brought this action against Mr. Kaputsos and Aeronautical Radio, Inc. (" Aeronautical Radio" ), who the plaintiff alleges is Mr. Kaputsos's employer, and has filed a motion to add ARINC, Inc. (" ARINC" ) as a party. Because the plaintiffs made an unknowing mistake in failing to name ARINC as a defendant, and because the defendants will
