Before the Court is defendant Samuel Carson's Motion for Discovery [1088]. Upon consideration of the Motion [1088], the government's Response thereto [1092], and the defendant's Reply [1094], defendant's motion will be DENIED IN PART and GRANTED IN PART.

I. BACKGROUND

Samuel Carson was convicted in January 2002 for his participation in a vast narcotics conspiracy and related crimes. The United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit affirmed Carson's conviction and sentence and provided a lengthy account of the facts in its opinion. United States v.
